Adenine nucleotide translocase
Description
The adenine nucleotide translocator, ANT, exchanges ADP for ATP in an electrogenic antiport across the inner mt-membrane. The ANT is inhibited by atractyloside, carboxyatractyloside and bongkrekik acid. The ANT is a component of the phosphorylation system.
