Adenine nucleotide translocase

Description

The adenine nucleotide translocator exchanges ADP for ATP in an electrogenic antiport across the inner mt-membrane. Inhibited by atractyloside, carboxyatractyloside (Cat) and bongkrekik acid. The ANT is a component of the phosphorylation system.
