Azd: Azide (Sodium azide, NaN₃); Sigma S2002, SDS 25 g, store commercial stock at RT; FW = 65.01.

Caution: Very toxic!

Preparation of 4 M storage and stock solution (dissolved in H₂O) for 2-mL O2k-chamber:

1. Weigh 260 mg of sodium azide.
2. Dissolve in 1 mL H₂0.
3. Divide into 0.5 mL portions.
4. Store at -20 °C.
