The Organising Committee unanimously agreed that, although the situation is currently improving, holding a large international conference in early September is unrealistic due to COVID-19. Although this cancellation is a major setback for our plans to establish a regular meeting to bring together physiologists working in Europe, the spirit of Europhysiology will live on! The next meeting, Europhysiology 2022, is planned for Copenhagen, Denmark, September 2022 and we look forward to seeing you there and sharing our research again.
