Mark statistics - DatLab |
MitoPedia O2k and high-resolution respirometry:
O2k-Open Support
Description
DatLab 8: displays the statistical values (e.g. medians) for the marks set on the plots and allows copying and exporting them for data analysis. As default, the window opens and shows the information according to the current active plot and chamber selected.
DatLab 7: Mark statistics
Abbreviation: F2
Reference: MitoPedia: DatLab
Last update: 2024-06-13
- Select chamber: select the chamber from which the data are displayed. As default, the window opens and shows the information according to the current active plot and chamber selected.
- Export for DL analysis template: when selected, a template can be chosen in the drop-down menu, and the displayed data will be adjusted according to the format in which they need to be copied/pasted in the corresponding template. For example, if βO2 analysis templateβ is selected, O2 concentration and O2 slope neg. of the marks related to the O2 time derivative plot will be displayed, and can directly be copied to clipboard and pasted in the corresponding Excel template.
- Statistics mode: choose how the displayed values are calculated over the sections defined by the marks. The available options are: median (default), average, standard deviation, outlier index, range, maximum, minimum.
- Sort marks by: sort the marks according to a time sequence (Time), or in alphanumerical order (Mark name), for example if free marks have been used.
- Show only DatLab protocol marks: when selected, only protocol marks are displayed. To display free marks this option needs to be unselected.
- Export all info: When selected, additional information about the measurement is exported with the mark data. This includes information about the sample, O2 calibration and instrumental background correction.
- Copy to clipboard: click to copy the Marks statistics data with or without all info to another program/file (e.g. DatLab analysis Excel templates). Open the target file and paste [Ctr+V]. If not all the marks of a DL8-Protocol were set, a warning window will be opened to inform the user.
- Export as CSV: Export Marks statistics data with or without all info for further use in Excel or other programs compatible with .csv extension. If not all the marks of a DL8-Protocol were set, a warning window will be opened to bring this to the userβs attention.
- Data table: displays the data of the marks according to the selected options.
- Select plot for marks: select the source plot to display the corresponding marks. All channels that were used in the measurement and therefore can be selected are shown in a box (O2 and system channels are always available). Two options can be selected:
- Signal: indicates plots related to the a signal recorded in a specific channel (raw signal, O2 concentration, calibrated signal)
- Time derivative: indicates plots related to the signal slope (slope negative, flux per volume, specific flux)
- Show/Hide system channels: shows or hides the system channelsβ plots for selection.
- Select data: select the channel (Channel selection) and the data (Data selection) to be displayed for the chosen marks. Data from more than one channel can be simultaneously displayed in the data table and will be shown as additional rows of the table. To select all the data options for one channel, click on βSelect allβ and to unselect them click on βUnselect allβ.
- Apply to Chamber A/Apply to Chamber B: Applies all the options selected for one chamber (plot for marks, data, statistic mode,β¦) to the other chamber. The button from the current selected chamber is disabled.
- O2 background: displays the instrumental O2 background correction parameters applied to the file (aΒ°: intercept; bΒ°: slope).
- Stoichiometry: displays the stoichiometry value.
- Data Analysis templates: by clicking on it, the βDL-Protocolsβ folder opens, where DatLab analysis templates can be found.
