P-L control efficiency

Description

The P-L coupling control capacity, Ξ”jP-L, is related to the respiratory control ratio, RCR, if State 3 is equivalent to the OXPHOS state, measured at saturating [ADP]; Ξ”jP-L is 1.0 for a fully coupled System (when RCR approaches infinity), and is 0.0 for a system with zero DT-phosphorylation capacity (when L<E) or a fully uncoupled system (when L=P=E; and RCR=1).

Abbreviation: CCCP-L , Ξ”jP-L
