Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVEC) are isolated from normal human umbilical vein. They are mainly used to study the function and pathology of endothelial cells (macromolecule transport, blood coagulation, fibrinolysis, angiogenesis, the selective blood barrier, pathophysiological processes, including arterial disease and cancer development and other endothelial cell signaling pathways).
