MitoEAGLE
- Benefits for COST and for the COST Action MitoEAGLE
- Our core business is the customized generation of animal models of human disease, applying all state-of-the-art technologies (also within several EU FP7 projects). It would be in our interest to get in contact to experts on mitochondrial disease to learn what is the current standard in mitochondrial genome engineering. I was wondering if the participation of an SME like PolyGene would be of mutual benefit for the current members of the network. In your project description the term “animal model” was mentioned, therefore I would hope that an R&D driven provider of animal model services might be beneficial for your research.
- PolyGene AG is an R&D intensive SME, located in Switzerland in the area of Zürich. Our core business is the genomic engineering in the context of animal model generation of human disease. We offer state-of-the-art technologies for the generation of transgenic mice, rats and rabbits and for targeted modifications. Should you already have validated animal models, we also offer cryopreservation of rederivation services to make sure that your valuable prototypes do not get lost. We at PolyGene would be more than happy to contribute to the success of MITOEAGLE and start new collaborations at your earliest convenience.
