In cooperation with [http://www.wgt.at/index.php?id=home WGT-Electronics], we continuously invest into innovation and further improvements of HRR.
Our latest developments lead to a next generation of high-resolution respirometry: the O2k-Fluorometer (K-Regio MitoCom Tyrol) will combine the established oxygen measurement with simultaneous detection of fluorophores in an integrated system.
As a first step, the [[O2k-Fluorescence LED2-Module]] is available, which can be applied as an extension of the present O2k-Core. A multitude of fluorescent markers and filter sets enables determination of diverse mitochondrial processes in addition to oxygen consumption, including generation of reactive oxygen species, ATP production, mitochondrial membrane potential and Ca2+, extendable by user-specific applications.
