Description
Mitochondrial respiration medium, MiR05Cr, developed for oxygraph incubations of mitochondrial preparations - permeabilized muscle fibres.
MiR05Cr = MiR05 + 20 mM creatine.
Abbreviation: MiR05Cr
Reference: MiPNet14.13

- For preparation of MiR05Cr and application in HRR, see MiPNet14.13 Medium-MiR06
- The oxygen solubility factor of MiR05Cr is the same as for MiR05 = 0.92.
Rationale: as for MiR05, but less ADP is needed in permeabilized muscle fibres. This is of advantage when using the TPP electrode, because ADP has a high chemical side effect.
