- Betreff: WG4 Lund workshop journal club and possible scientific collaboration

- Dear all,
- Monday 28th (between 11.45-12.30) we have scheduled a journal club with a recent paper published with the title “EXTRAMITOCHONDRIAL ENERGY PRODUCTION IN PLATELETS” (Ravera 2018 Biol Cell) which of course is of important relevance to the WG4 topic. The paper will be briefly presented by Fredrik Sjövall followed by a discussion.
- If you have time please read through the paper. The task is to read and come up with experiments that could confirm or disprove the findings of the paper.
- After the JC we will ask if you are interested to join a scientific collaboration to produce limited data and a manuscript for a letter to the editor, or a full paper. The plan is to divide up the future work between the interested labs (e.g one question or assay per lab). The Lund group would project lead.
- Participation is absolutely voluntary.
- We believe that this initiativ is a fun way to collaborate and in the spirit of MitoEAGLE.
