About Oroboros Diagnostics
- Oroboros Diagnostics will be established as a new branch (GmbH) with a business plan to launch a multichamber medical device for mitochondrial diagnostics. The multichamber medical device is required for clinical use, with simplifications (O2 measurement only) and specific optimizations (e.g. optical sensor) compared to the general research instrument O2k. A medical device requires an organizational platform separate from the research-linked model of Oroboros Instruments.
Aims
- Instrumental development and market launch of multichamber device as research device for applications by early testers.
- Formulation and creation of basic documents to start an ISO 13485-compliant product development for medical device. Formulation of a project plan including milestone plan and budget calculation up to CE approval.
- Instrumental development advancement of multichamber device as a medical device for broader application of mitochondrial diagnostics. Potential development of titration robotics to offer the multichamber device as a Unified Endpoint Management system.
