Description The O2k-Fluorescence Module is a modular extension of the O2k-Core, adding a new dimension to HRR. Optical probes are inserted through the front window of the O2k-glass chambers, for measurement of hydrogen peroxide production (Amplex red), ATP production (Mg green), mt-membrane potential (Safranin), Ca2+ (Ca green), and numerous other applications open for O2k-user innovation.

Upgrading the Oxygraph-2k Basic

  • The O2k-Core fully supports the O2k-Fluorescence Module.
  • The Oxygraph-2k 20000-44 (Series D and E) requires the O2k-MultiSensor electronic upgrading. The O2k-MultiSensor System fully supports the O2k-Fluorescence Module. Two black PEEK stoppers (with single central titration port) are included in the O2k-Fluorescence Module.
  • Oxygraph-2k 20000-44 (Series A to C). For best performance we recommend to use an O2k Series D and above. However, O2k (Series A to C) can be equipped with a multisensor module upon request. Only one chamber can be used when measuring simlutaneously fluoresecence and respiatin.
