BEC manuscript submissions - Living Communications

A manuscript may be submitted in conjunction with a presentation, or as a standalone submission regardless of whether you attend the conference.
Dear authors:
We will need your help for ensuring a quick turnaround and adherence to timelines to prepare a printed issue for distribution at the conference.
In addition to contributions from the academic world, companies and particularly start-ups involved in the field of bioenergetics are invited to present their advancements in an Industrial Exhibition at the conference venue and to communicate their innovations in the Bioblast 2022: BEC Inaugural Issue.
You may consider your short-term (end of March) and page-limited (4 to 8 pages) primary contribution to Bioblast 2022 as a Living Communication. Our goal is a continuously evolving BEC article collection on Bioenergetics โ€“ past and future perspectives. Open Access, no page charges, no publication fees, with Open Peer Review. Starting with a 4 to 8 page short contribution to BEC (plus optional Supplement and Open Access data repository), you may edit your article for future editions to keep it 'immortal', which may expand, evolve, and thus contribute to a unique collection on the Bioblasts. BEC has subscribed to DORA to support a change in the world of scientific communication - towards empowerment of Gentle Science instead of slavery in the empires of the publishing industry with yesteryear's paywall journals.
In the spirit of Gentle Science, to make Bioblast 2022 a milestone in our communication of science,
Your BEC editorial team
