How often should I re-assemble the O2k-chamber?
We recommend disassembling, cleaning and re-assembling the O2k-chamber at least every 1-2 years. It is also necessary to disassemble it when there is persistent biological or protein contamination, medium leakage from the chamber, an oxygen leak of the chamber, or an unstable or unexpectedly high or low oxygen signal.

When should I analyze my data as flux control ratios (FCRs)?
FCRs enable the comparison of samples normalized with various mitochondrial content parameters or when sample concentration is unknown. This is achieved by internally normalizing O2 fluxes in different respiratory states to the maximum flux in a common reference state.
